To connect with other people! The Internet has made a BIG world a relatively small place. You can connect with people no matter where they live with ease.

I love this part of the Internet. The Internet can help create community. It can be a place where friendships are built. It can be a place where others toss ideas back and forth.

That is why we have been working very hard to bring you our newest update to Zfreedom ...

Drum roll please ...

We are very close to launching a Discussion board or forum to the back office of Zfreedom.

For the first time ever, Zrii I.E.'s from all around the U.S. and Canada can start discussions on anything related to Zrii. You can talk about marketing tactics, obstacles you've experienced, success you've had, etc.

Why wait to participate in the Zrii community only at big events like RSA?

Why not start an ongoing community virtually? The discussion board will be open to all Zfreedom users. You can ask questions and give feedback anytime!

You can even ask me a question if you'd like. I'm going to try to pop in every day to contribute to the discussions. Don't be afraid to post any topic related to Zrii... you'd be amazed at how your thoughts and feelings can benefit the rest of the Zrii community.

I'm very excited about this discussion board. It has HUGE potential for providing a platform to allow Zrii I.E.'s to connect with each other in a way that has never been seen before.

The Zfreedom Forum Launch Date:

We are currently testing the forum to make sure it is running smoothly. It should be live sometime near the end of the week or early next week. We will send a broadcast to all users letting them know when it is live.

Bottom line: This discussion board will only be as good as what people put into it. In other words, take some time every day to post some new topics or provide feedback.

The Greatest Opportunity In Capitalism...

The Greatest Opportunity In The History Of
Capitalism . . .


That's EXACTLY what network marketing is. To think that for
less than $1500 you I or anyone else can start a business
with the potential to make millions and retire a financially
independent life is truly amazing.

But that's exactly what network marketing is.

When I first learned and really grasped the financial power
that network marketing holds I had my first Scooby Doo
moment. (Ruhh!)


And it was game over ever since. It didn't matter how, I
wanted it. It didn't matter how long it would take I would
do it, and to think just less than a year and a half ago I stumbled
into Zrii which in Fifteen short months has
changed my life . . .

That's all it took- a simple decision to see what could
happen and it happened!

A young 27 year old guy from Calgary, AB without any
prior MLM business experience could simply start a business
with huge potential for such a little investment.

It's real, it happens, and it doesn't take a specially
gifted person to make it work, it just takes YOU.

It just takes courage and persistence and an open mind to
learn.


This is the time, not tomorrow or the next day, right now!

And because the internet is here, the playing field is
completely level. No longer do you need to be some super
charged sales guy on the phone, or wow a crowd from the
stage, all you have to do to change your life is get the
right people to the right information and watch what starts
to happen.



If I can just help spark a little success in one person each
day I'll sleep well every night for the rest of my life and
that's why I write to you. (Sometimes with spelling and
grammar errors.)

Some days you may be down. Maybe your first recruit gave up
and now you gotta go get started again, and you're thinking
I don't know if it's worth it.

I dream each day that at least one person opens an email I
send in that situation and finds new strength to carry on the
good fight.

If that's you today . . .

Here me loud and clear, even if the struggle is two steps
forward and one step back each and every day, you still took
that step, you still put your neck on the line to live the
life of your dreams, you still dared to dream the big dream,
and you are my hero for it.

THEY laugh and doubt you. They think what you're doing is
some scheme and quietly hope you fail again so that can say
"I told you you were just wasting your time."

Don't give them that pleasure. Let them sit at there desk
and trade hours for dollars. You know you've got a much
greater fate awaiting you.

Fight on at all cost.

And THEY'LL start to look at what you're doing and the
passion that drives you and get jealous.

Then before they have a chance to look away despondently,
you can reach your hand out once again and give them the
chance to fight the good fight too. You can teach them the
ropes, the inner battle of winning.

Network marketing allows you to change lives. Do you SEE the
power of that vision?

Do you see yourself taking people from the drudges and
giving them hope when there was none?

Do you see yourself creating millionaires?

It doesn't matter if you do, I see it in you.

And soon you will too.

My heart is racing with excitement because in you I see the
seed of greatness and I know if I just keep watering that seed
it's going to sprout into something amazing.

And it's going to grow, and grow, and grow.

And you'll see once that seed roots into the ground deep and
sturdy that that question of well how much can I grow will
begin to fade, and you'll see that your opportunity is
absolutely limitless.

I see this in YOU.

There Is Hope ...

With the economy not looking so hot, a lot of people are getting worried about their jobs, their savings, and their retirement.

In times like these people tend to worry and fear which leads to stress.

What if I lose my job?

What if I can't pay my mortgage?

What if I can't retire?

What if ... (you fill in the blank)


Here's a little quote from a book I received from a friend of mine,

"There's no predicament that can't be turned into an advantage. No foe
who can't become a friend. And no burden that cannot give you wings.
How fair is that?"


Make the best of whatever situation you find yourself in. It is in the darkest
times that you need to dream the most. Whatever you believe, you can achieve.

I believe that Zrii is going to set thousands of people financially FREE ...

And I also believe that you can be one of them.

What You Can't Afford Not To Know ...

What is the most important
thing I've learned about network marketing?

That LEADERS are who
build the business.

Do you know why so many people fail in network marketing?
Because they are not taught how to be a leader.

You can have all the skills in the world, but if you aren't
a leader then you won't go very far.

So the first step is for YOU to become a leader. And I have
good news for you! I can teach you the difference between
being just a distributor and being a leader. This Saturday
at 4:00 EST I'm going to reveal for the first time ever the
secret of the difference between distributors and leaders.

Now, becoming a leader won't happen over night. But, once you
know the difference then you can at least work towards becoming
a leader.

And since leaders are the ones who "make it" in this industry,
then I suggest you learn to become one.

Okay, so you are a leader. Great. Now what? What does it
matter if you are a leader but don't know how to get leaders
in your downline? If all you have are distributors then how
big do you think you'll really grow.

There are only two ways to get leaders:

1. Steal them.
2. Develop them.

Stealing them means that you are recruiting other leaders from
other network marketing companies. This might work for some.
But, the problem is that these "leaders" that you steal are usually
bought for a price. And that means that they probably will
end up being bought for a higher price down the road. Which leaves
you without a leader! Plus, this method is not very duplicable.

The far more reliable way is to learn HOW to develop leaders.

Do you know how to develop leaders? I didn't when I joined Zrii.
And if I didn't know then chances are a lot of you don't know.
But, I've since learned from other big time leaders in the industry
the secret of developing leaders.

So how do you develop leaders?

First, you need to know what a leader is.

Second, you need a formula on how to teach a distributor to become
a leader.

Zrii In Mexico... Don't Miss Out!

Wow!

You should have heard the enthusiasm in my brother Doug's voice as he talked to me over the phone while in Mexico.

"Dave, you got to witness this for yourself. It's incredible. People are signing up from all over Mexico. They are excited. People are quitting their jobs to do Zrii full time for the next 3 months. I've never seen anything like it"

Doug could hardly contain himself as he was sharing with me story after story of leaders that are coming into Zrii.

What does this mean for you?

Network marketing is not rocket science. You simply start building a "network" of people who enjoy taking the product and have a vision for the business opportunity. These people will know other people who know other people who know someone from Mexico (or replace Mexico with Canada, United States, other cities, other markets, etc.).

Get the point?

You see, network marketing is beautiful when you actually work it. It leverages your efforts in ways you could not imagine. You can tap into a global market.

You know how the United States is going through a financial crisis right now? Have you ever considered the fact that network marketing is practically the only business model that allows you to leverage off of other country's economies?

And it all starts with YOU! All you need to do is be consistent. Start building a downline. It doesn't matter how "big" your team is. What matters is that you are "networking" with people. You never know who will know someone from Mexico.

Zrii will eventually open in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, etc.

Do you see the potential? Do you see the power of network marketing? Never give up. Zrii is just getting started. Your "network" is more valuable then you think. Every time Zrii opens in another country you have an opportunity of a life-time through the contacts you've already made.

So it starts in your back yard. Build contacts HERE and you will build a global business.

Of course, you can use the internet as well (Oh how I love the internet).

I am convinced that there is no better opportunity for people today to break free from the bondage of debt then the Zrii opportunity.

Will it be easy? No way. Nothing good in life is easy.

But I promise you that if you stay committed and think long-term, you will reap the benefits of all your labor!

My New BMW M3...

There she is!



It's black but looks blue in the sunlight. I got fox red leather seats just cause I was feelin the Zrii spirit! LOL.

If any of you come to Calgary, Canada make sure you look me up and I'll take you for
a spin. This baby has a V8 and 415 hp. It goes like a rocket.

Here's another pic of me outside on my deck. It has been extremely nice weather for September and October. As you can see, I have a wonderful view. I hope this makes some of you want to come all the way up north!

My First Time To The "Big Apple"...

Did I ever tell you how much I love network marketing?

Why?

Because of the amazing friendships that are created from building the business. I couldn't think of a better industry to be in... the relationships make it worth it all!

I arrived last Wednesday in Newark ready to hit up the big city. Gene Pomerants, an amazing Zrii leader and now good friend, picked me up at the airport.

The first night we went downtown Manhattan and experienced the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. And that is a huge compliment because I used to live in California and ate authentic Mexican food almost once a week.

The restaurant is called "Hell's Kitchen" in case you are ever in the area and feel like some really good Mexican. I believe it is located in Times Square.

I stayed at Gene's place in Brooklyn. I slept on his son's bunk bed and had a great time getting to know their family. Their little girl, Isabel, is so cute. Apparently she is really shy and doesn't do so well with strangers. But, within 5 minutes she was showing me all her dolls and I couldn't stop her from talking if I tried :-)

I guess Canadians are just really likable.

The Zrii meeting went great. We had about 40 people show up in back room of a photography studio that was donated by Barry Burnes, a local photographer. Gene just called me and said they had over $7000 worth of volume come in since the meeting! I used the power point presentation located in the back office of Zfreedom under the Training section (just in case you were wondering what to use for your meetings)

Then we had a great training. We talked about how to create business cards that make prospects WANT to come to your website.

After the training we all went out for some really good Thai food. Man, we had a good time!

Now I have life-long friends in NY.

Make sure you are getting out and meeting people. Invite them to your Zfreedom website (see step #4 in the back office of Zfreedom to learn about where to begin) and then get them out to a meeting or do a three-way call.

It doesn't get any simpler to build this business (and it couldn't be more fun):

1. Invite 2-3 new people a day to view your Zfreedom presentation
2. Do a three-way call with your upline
3. Invite them to a meeting

Bingo!

If you do these simple things you will reap the rewards of creating walk-away residual income!

Have You Ever Felt Discouraged?

Zrii is a real business and as such there will be times of frustration and discouragement.

You may think, "Oh come on Dave, you are a 9 star, you don't even know what discouragement is like"

Oh really?

Anyone who has started their own business knows what it is like to be frustrated and discouraged at times. The key is to get through it. Don't let discouragement rob you of the opportunity that is before you.

Do you know how I personally get through discouragement? I have at least one person in my life that always encourages me and belives in me no matter what.

If you don't have someone like that then try to find one. Two is better than one.

Here's something that I found really interesting from Doug Firebaugh:

The Pressure of Frustration can Be defeated.

If someone told you that you could succeed at anything you put your mind to, would you believe them? if someone told you that there would be frustrating times would you believe them? If they told you you would get through them- would you believe them?

Many people today battle with the Power of frustration- and Disocuragement. It is amazing. You would think that people would get past the emotions that stop them- but they do not. They seem to cling to the frustration and discouragement as a way of maybe holding on to not having to try again.

But there are things that you can do, and there are things that you can say as well. if you just understand that all discouragement is temporary and can be defeated easily.

How?

You MUST be able to get your people as well as yourself back on track and out of the slack.

It starts with an understanding of what discouragement really is, and what creates it, and then what to do to get rid of it, and ALL Leaders need to know this.

First off, discouragement is simply an emotion that replaces courage, or the will to continue.

And just like the words displace, distrust, or dislike, this emotion creates the opposite of what once was..it is the Silent, Deadly Thief in a Distributors life, and you must know how to handle it.

There are basically 5 things that create discouragement in this business, and all else revolves around them:

1)Questioning yourself.

All discouragement starts with questioning yourself, conciously, or subconciously..those deadly words -"Can I really Do this?" and it echoes in their heart.

2) Lack of Results.


This is a biggie. You can eject yourself from this business with no results. And this starts with questioning you, which sabotages your actions, which cripples your results.

3) Expectations too high.

This is done almost daily in this industry. The new person does not yet have the skillset to build a million dollar business, but expects to, and when it does not happen quickly, they think they cannot do this business.

4) Listening to the Wrong People.

This can discourage quickly, as people that the new distributor knows becomes negative and the distributor is not

inoculated to fend off the arrows. (This is a Must!)

5) Loss of a Vision OnFire.

People do this business to Increase, Empower, or Improve something in their life. All Leaders know this. After you have been in a while, you can lose the Fire for your Vision, because slowly, silently, Doubt has crept in, created by distractions, or Lack of Focus, or lack of Empowering Relationships...growing into a Discouragement Tumor, then Cancer.

ok....What can we do to battle this?

1) First off, understand that most Discouragement is caused by Set Backs in the Distributors Heart.What can create these Set Backs? We have found that most are caused by one thing:

Communication Errors.

We get paid to do one thing -Communicate with people! And when Set Backs happen, most can be traced to the communication power (or lack of it) in the new person's effort. Sit down with the new person, (or your upline if you are down and out), and walk through the Prospecting with them to see if they have enough folks to talk to.

Go through how they are contacting people and listen live as they do it to see where the breakdown is. Take notes. Listen to their Presentation, and see where the breakdown is, as well as the Getting the Decision, and handling objections.

Somewhere in there, you will find the problem, I promise. Whether it is too weak communication, non-conviction communication, lack of enough communication, too much communication, or too strong communication, you will find the glitch.

And do not forget the "inner communication" within ourselves as we speak to others...If that is negative, so goes the appointment.

2) Have Home Office call the Down Distributor (someone of notariety) and chat with the distributor to encourage them.

A little ‘Special Attention" has refired many down folks into SuccessInfernos! Also have a Top Earner call them as well and tell the Distributor about their own hard times and challenges..

3) Micro-Event a day.

What is that? Sit down with the new distributor, and make a list of easy, small actions you KNOW will be successful ( 5 phone calls, 5 letters out, 5 new prospects, etc) and celebrate their efforts and small successes. They MUST get back to

expecting Success, no matter how small, through micro-events.

4) Say the 4 Power Words.

Over and Over and Over, say the Most Powerful Words In Downline Building..

I BELIEVE IN YOU! (Do you know how long it has been for most people since they have heard those words? YEARS!)

This is what we call "Battered Heart FirstAid".

WARNING: Some folks will become discouraged and when you try to help, will become almost co-dependent.

Always say ‘I cannot and will not do this Business For You, for that would cripple you. So I need to find out what is wrong, and correct it..so you can do this in a more Powerful Way.."

So In Summary - Special Attention, Focus on the Process, and Ignite their Hearts with the 4 Power Words.

Keeping It Simple...

Sometimes it is easy to forget and lose sight of the fact that network marketing is all about duplication.

What makes the network marketing business model brilliant is the exponential growth aspect associated with duplication.

So how do you define duplication?

One of my mentors Randy Gage says, "It is simple actions that can be duplicated by a large group of people on a consistent basis"

You know what's funny?

Everyone has the tendency to complicate things (I'm a huge culprit of this) which cuts the legs of duplication right out from under network marketing.

Simple = duplication

Why do we want to complicate things? Probably because we don't really fully understand the power of duplication and that duplication ONLY HAPPENS WHEN IT IS KEPT SIMPLE.

Let's really take a look at this.

Is pay per click advertising highly duplicable? No.

Is blogging, ezines, article marketing, or banners duplicable? No.

So what is highly effective yet still duplicable?

Drum roll please...

Inviting someone to view your Zfreedom website. Doug and I already know that the Zfreedom business site converts very well. We already know the effectiveness of all the auto responders. We know the power of the "one touch" emails.

All you have to do is get someone there. Everyone can talk (invite someone). Everyone can see (look at what they did on your site). Everyone can socialize (get to know your prospect) Everyone can click a mouse button (send a "one touch" email). And everyone can pick up the phone (do a three-way call)

Do you want to build walk-away residual income for life?

Then meet your daily objective of getting at least one new person to view your Zfreedom business site by getting them to fill in their contact information on one of your landing pages.

And when you first get started PUT ALL YOUR CONTACTS INTO THE WARM MARKET WIZARD. Your goal should be to get at least 30 people you know to view your site.

Don't make the mistake of making it too complicated. Just get people to view your presentation... that's it. You'll be amazed what happens when you simply invite people to your site.

Not Knowing How To Invite People Could Cost You...

In my last blog post I talked about your one daily objective.

Now, there are all kinds of ways to market your Zrii business. There is pay per click, article marketing, classified ads, magazine ads, flyers, etc.

But, what is the easiest way to guarantee you meet your daily objective?

The easiest way to guarantee that someone will fill in their contact information on one of your landing pages is to invite them to it.

Yep, that's right. Pretty simple, huh?

All you have to learn is how to invite someone to view your Zfreedom presentation. Anyone can do it. You don't have to master pay per click advertising, you don't need to be a wiz at calling leads, you don't need to know how to do a classified ad... all you need to do is learn a few sentences known as an invitation.

Traditionally, network marketers invited people to do various things like go to a meeting, watch a DVD, listen to a conference call, etc.

But, your one objective is to invite them to view your Zfreedom presentation. And really let's think about this. How hard is it to get someone to go to your website and fill in their contact information and spend 20-30 minutes viewing your site? People love to surf the net. They love to go to websites. And when you invite someone to your site, that site has just become way more personal... as opposed to just another "cold" internet website.

To learn how to invite people to your site all you really need is a business card and a few catchy phrases memorized.

First, let's remember that you will direct 90% of people to your business site. You are not trying to find customers... you are trying to find new distributors. Now, in the process of trying to find new distributors you will almost always find customers.

The ONLY exception to this rule is if you meet someone who has some sort of health condition. Then and ONLY then would you send them directly to your product site. Because that is what is first and foremost on their mind.

But, most people's biggest concern is how to make a little extra money.

O.k. so here are a few invitations that you can practice and use when inviting people to view your presentation:

"Ever heard of Deepak Chopra? Well, I've started marketing a new health product, the only one the Chopra Center has ever endorsed and we are looking for other people who want to get involved. Would you be interested?"

OR

"Do you want to learn about a proven system of how to make money from home? We give give a FREE one hour consulting session for anyone seriously interested."

OR

"I've just partnered with a billionaire, he is the part owner of the Chicago White Sox. He has just launched his next billion dollar company and is looking for leaders to open new markets. This is a once in a life-time opportunity. Would you be interested in taking a look?"


Choose one you like and perfect it. Practice it in front of a mirror. Don't make it any longer and don't give them any more details. If they ask you any questions simply say, "Look, I really don't have time to go into details about this. I'm going to give you my website (hand them your business card). Will you go to my website and take a look? Oh and by the way, when you get there you will enter your name, phone number, and email... don't worry, it only comes to me and let's me know you've been to my site."

Confirm that they understand you and that they will go to your site. You can even get their email address right there just in case they forget to go to your site.

That's it.

As you consistently do this every day you will meet your daily objective. Then you can start adding more marketing tactics like article marketing, classified ads, ppc, blogging, buying leads, etc.

Your One Daily Objective...

A lot of you wanted to see a picture of my beautiful wife... without her I would be no where!

O.k. so what is your ONE DAILY OBJECTIVE in order to achieve success?

Well, before I tell you the one thing you should do every day, let me first share with you something I've learned about network marketing.

The power of network marketing is duplication. And duplication only works when each new distributor has a clear objective each day. It has to be simple. It has to work. And it needs to stretch them... in other words, it can't be super easy (simple, yes. Easy, no)

So what is this ONE objective that you need to do every day and teach your new distributors to do as well?

Are you ready?

Get one new person/day to view your Zfreedom presentation by either getting them to fill in their contact information on one of your Zfreedom landing pages OR by getting them to click on the link from one of your Warm Market Wizard emails.

It doesn't matter how you do it. You just need to get it done. One new person to fill in their contact information on one of your Zfreedom landing pages is simple. It might not be super easy, but it is definitely doable if you try.

Do you now understand clearly what your one objective is everyday?

So how are you going to accomplish your one objective?

By creating a PLAN OF ACTION. Or what I refer to as a Marketing Calendar. See the Marketing section in the back office of Zfreedom for more details.

In the end it doesn't matter what tactic you use just as long as you are getting one
new person to fill in their contact information on one of your landing pages.

HINT: Use the targeted landing pages to your advantage. It is a lot easier to get a Mother to fill in their contact information on your Mother landing page. You have a better chance of getting a Real Estate Agent to fill in their contact information on the Real Estate landing page. Get the point?

Here's what I would do to guarantee my one new person every day.

Print out 10 copies of each flyer from the Zfreedom back office. You will find these flyers under the Marketing section.

On each flyer make sure you put the corresponding landing page. So the real estate flyer would have your real estate landing page url on it.

Keep these flyers in your car. As you go about your day you will run into Mothers, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, wellness professionals, teachers, entrepreneurs, etc.

Give them your business card and the corresponding flyer. Make sure you get their commitment that they will go to your website and give you their name, phone number, and email... otherwise it doesn't count.

If you don't have a flyer handy... then carry a cheat sheet with you. Know which landing pages are what (ie. "/goland1", "/goland2", "/goland3"). Then you can always add the corresponding landing page to the end of your domain if you run into any of your target markets.

The key is to understand that you have to get them to enter their contact information on your website. Without this, you haven't really accomplished anything. Once they enter their information you now have a new prospect in the marketing funnel.

You can do two things with a new prospect that has read through your Zfreedom site and watched some of the videos:

1. Do a three-way call with your sponsor or upline.

2. Get them to a local meeting.

It can't be any simpler than this. Get one new person to fill in their contact information on one of your landing pages every day.

You can learn new marketing tactics every month to help get that one new person. You can learn article marketing, ppc, classified advertising, MySpace, etc.

But, remember unless you actually get a new prospect it doesn't count. In other words, the person MUST show up in your Contact manager.

I've Got Bad News...

If you're not using Article Marketing in all your marketing efforts than your missing out big time!

But, the good news is that I can show you EXACTLY how you can begin utilizing one of the most effective FREE forms of marketing on the internet.

The following is a little lengthy but well worth your time. But I must warn you: ONCE YOU'VE LEARNED HOW TO DO ARTICLE MARKETING GO AND TAKE ACTION!!!!! Otherwise, it won't do you any good.

BTW, I wrote about 16 articles 12 months ago and I just checked the stats today. I've received over 5000 visitors to my articles and over 2000 clicks to my site. And all for FREE... each article only took me about 25 minutes to write!

Ever heard of article marketing before? If not, you are in for a special treat today. Article marketing is probably one of the best ways to drive traffic to any website without ever having to spend a dime! Just think what kind of leverage you could have by writing a few articles that get circulated throughout the internet and search engines for years to come...and when people read them they can click on your link to visit your Zfreedom lead capture page.

What is an article and where do you submit them? An article is simply a write up about any topic...could be network marketing, health, nutrition, zrii, amalaki, real estate, mortgages, mothers working from home, wellness professionals...the list goes on. Most articles are around 300-500 words in length. The best articles are ones that have good solid content that people are interested in. In other words, your article should be fairly informative to the reader. You can submit articles to any article directory on the internet for FREE! But, in my opinion the best one is http://ezinearticles.com

Anytime you are writing an article there are a few basic things to remember. First, you want your content to be keyword rich. That means that if you are talking about amalaki then your article should have the keyword amalaki in it many times...maybe even amalaki juice or amalaki berry and so on. HINT: Put as many of your main keywords as possible in the title of your article.

Second, don't worry about what to write. People want to hear your thoughts so just put them on paper...tell people what you know about a certain topic or interest. You'll be surprised at how many people enjoy reading your thoughts. You can even take some of the information that I've taught you and re-write it in your own words- just be careful NOT to copy it!

Third, use keyword phrases NOT just keywords. For example, "Zrii review" is a keyword phrase. Remember, you want someone to type a keyword or keyword phrase into google and have your article come up. For instance, at the time I'm writing this blog post, if you typed, "deepak chopra zrii" into google my article is the first one to come up (update: I took this article down due to compliance issues). Pretty cool, huh? And the best part is that it only took me around 25 mintues to write and I haven't paid a dime.

So how do you get traffic to your site by writing articles? Good question. Every time you write an article you get to include a resource box or bio at the end of your article. In that resource box you will present yourself as a professional network marketer and have your url to your Zfreedom lead capture page available for people to click on.

Does it work? Well, instead of me just saying, "yeah, of course it works"...how about I show you real statistics. Sound good?

O.k. so here are the stats to date:

I've written around 8 articles (Update: 16 articles) I've had 351 visitors to my site (Update: over 2000) and 21 prospects (people that have given me their contact information- I've had even more since). Not bad, considering that I have it on auto pilot and just follow up with people that are interested in the Zrii opportunity. Out of those prospects I've had a couple of sign ups.

But, it even gets better. After you write an article it stays in circulation for a very long time. I've heard of some people receiving traffic for years from one article!

So when you have some spare time, sit down and write a few articles. Have fun doing it and watch people come to you! The key is to be consistent. Write 2 or 3 articles a week. Try to write about "how to" stuff. What do other network marketers want to learn? Write about that. Be as specific as you can and use bullet points or lists in your article... people love that sort of stuff.

Ps. Here is a tip for those who HATE to write. Go to http://elance.com and you can post a project where other people will write for you. It does cost a little but if you don't mind paying someone it can save you a lot of time (Don't pay more than $15/article)

100 Marketing Tactics To Grow Your Zrii Business...

By now I hope everyone has heard me emphasize the importance of a marketing calendar. Yet, I'm still amazed at how many people have not created one.

Out of 100 distributors I would venture that less than 5% have taken the time to do this.

And how much time does it really take?

Maybe 30 minutes.

Why is it so important?

Well, read this little blurb I received from another very successful networker that "gets it":

"Prospects are everywhere. You just have to choose how
you would like to contact them.

There are lots of methods to locate and create prospects.

And all of the methods work - if you learn how to use the
method correctly
.

Many times you hear distributors say:

''Advertising doesn't work.''

But is this true?

Of course not. We know advertising does work. If not,
who is paying for all those television commercials?
What the distributor should be saying is:

''My advertising doesn't work.''

Once the distributor takes that personal responsibility,
prospecting starts to make sense. If a distributor's
advertising doesn't work, then the distributor has two
choices:

1. Invest the time and money to learn how to make his
advertising work so that he can compete successfully
with other advertisers, or

2. If the distributor doesn't want to make that investment,
then simply choose a different method of prospecting.

If a distributor says:

''Direct mail doesn't work.''

Is that true?

Of course not.

Direct mail works. Look in your mailbox and you'll see
plenty of direct mail weekly. The truth is:

''That distributor's direct mail didn't work.''

Now the distributor has the same two choices as before.
Invest and learn how to make direct mail work, or choose
a different method.

What else doesn't work?

''Opportunity meetings don't work.''
''Referrals don't work.''
''Postcards don't work.''
''Bird dogs don't work.''

And the same truth applies to all of these methods of
prospecting.

Distributors must find a method of prospecting that
they enjoy, then learn how to use that method - or
pick another method.

Some people love buying leads. And some people don't.

Some people use their local newspaper to put classified ads in about a business opportunity... and some people don't.

Some people hand out 10 business cards a day... and some people don't.

Some people do a lot of pay per click advertising... and some don't.

Some people do an opportunity meeting once a week... and some don't.

I think you get the picture.

The key is that you are doing SOMETHING.

Why Use Video Email?

I'm here at my lake house enjoying a beautiful Sunday with my family.

When you work hard at network marketing... and you're willing to do what the average person isn't... then you will reap the benefits of its amazing flexible life-style.

Internet-Network marketing is amazing- I'm here on a vacation with my family at the lake and I'm still working my business!

Talk about rewarding!

And the thing is, I'm more than willing to share with you how Doug and I got here. Actually, that is my passion- to teach you the art of marketing your Zrii business.

And that is what Zfreedom is all about.

So what can you do that will separate yourself from the rest?

You see, the key in building a successful business is to NOT be average.

Rise above your competition. Be willing to do what most aren't.

Hence today's topic: Why Use Video Email?

Do you know what the fastest growing trend on the internet is?

Social networking (i.e. facebook, MySpace, twitter, etc.)

Do you know why?

People want to "know" each other. They want to connect.

Think about it. How many times do you get a video email from a person that is trying to sell you something? What would that do if you did?

I can almost here you say, "But, I don't know what to say".

That's ok. You don't need to say anything significant... and you certainly don't need to pitch Zrii on them (that is what the marketing site does). Just let them know who you are and how much you care about them.

5 FREE Methods To Advertise Your Business Online

I hope everyone is having a great summer.

I often find emails in my inbox from Zrii I.E.'s who are looking for FREE ways to advertise their business.

So, here are my top 5 ways to advertise your Zrii business for FREE online:

1. Article marketing- Often overlooked. One of the most effective ways to advertise using SEO. Very few people are willing to do the work necessary. There are many great resources in the back office of Zfreedom to teach you how to do it. Plus, you can find great information on the internet. The key is to make your articles keyword rich, 300-400 words, and news worthy... not pitchy. If you commit to writing 3 articles a week for the next 6 months and follow what I teach, you will get lots of free targeted traffic.

2. Blogging- Again, this is often overlooked. Everyone wants the "cheap" but fast methods. Remember, money leverages time. If you don't want to spend money then it will take more time. Although article marketing and blogging can take time to see results, they are effective if you stick to it.

3. Forum marketing- Another free but powerful method. You can join different forums or discussion boards (business, MLM, marketing, teachers, realators, mortgage brokers, etc.) and start chatting with other "like minded" people. Just "google" whatever discussion board you are looking for and you will find plenty. Just remember NOT to advertise. You are there to give value to others by contributing to conversations. Just put your Zfreedom link (corresponding landing page) in your profile. That way people can click on it when they look up who you are.

4. Classified ads- Places like Craigslist are effective as well. There are many places you can leave FREE classified ads. I just wrote a new article in the back office under Marketing Tools that is called, "9 Proven Advertisements You Can Use To Promote Your Business". Make sure you read this... it will help.

5. Social Networking- Probably the most powerful FREE traffic generation method on the internet. Make sure you watch the MySpace tutorial if you haven't done so located under Marketing Tools in the back office of Zfreedom. There are hundreds of social networking sites that you can become a member of. Go to Social Networking Sites to find a list of social networking sites that you can use.


Add one or two or three (or all) of these methods to your marketing calendar.

The key is to take action when you've learned something new. You might not get it perfect the first time, but you will get better.

6 Keys To Building Momentum In Your Online Network Marketing Business...

I found this article in my inbox today. I'm not sure who it is written by. Maybe Dave Sherman? Anyway, it is very good and is what I teach on a daily basis. All 6 points are very important. Enjoy!


"I have people in my organization who have built a group of hundreds of people in their online network marketing group in 6 months, and others that only recruited a dozen or so people in six months. And I think I finally figured out why.

I think the "secret" can be summed up in one word: momentum. And momentum doesn't seem to be created by massive effort, "big breaks", or charismatic, flamboyant personalities. As a matter of fact, from my own experience I can't find many common denominators between the leaders I know in the field of online network marketing. There are men and women, old and young, people from blue collar backgrounds as well as white collar professionals.

So how do you create momentum? Here are six keys that I have identified in people that I personally work with, in and out of my organization:

1. They have a vision of what they want and a plan to get there. Their "why" is strong. They usually have very specific reasons that they are building their business, and they are serious about achieving their goals. They have a business plan, and act from that plan, which includes their goals, strategies, and marketing methods.

2. They treat their business like a business, not a hobby. They are willing to invest in their business. These are the people that don't complain about the cost of marketing. They may not have large budgets, but they are willing to invest $200-$300 a month or more to achieve their dreams.

3. They are consistent. They work their business every single day, at least 5 days a week or more, where those that are unsuccessful work their business once or twice a week, if that. In Jim Collins amazing book, "Good to Great", he compares building momentum to getting a huge flywheel spinning. The first push doesn't do much, or the second or third, or even the hundredth. But over time, if you are consistent and never leave the task, you get it spinning so fast that even if you grabbed hold of it with all your might you couldn't stop it. Building an online network marketing business is just like that, you have to give it consistent effort over a reasonable period of time, usually at least six months.

4. They take 100% ownership of their business. They aren't waiting on anybody else to do anything for them, they just dig in and get to work. You will never hear these people say, "I could be successful if I had a good sponsor". These people are going to get it done even if they have the worst sponsor in the world.

5. They are students of the business, constantly learning and studying. They spend time not only in personal development, but they are students of business and of marketing. They also invest a fair amount of time in trial and error, and discovering what doesn't work to find out what does. They're not afraid to fail if they learned a lesson in the process.

6. They are passionate about the products. It's rare to see somebody create a great online network marketing business if they aren't really passionate about what they're selling. These people are not only fans of the products, they are usually on the "big" autoship and are proud to talk to anybody about the products they represent.

I believe anybody can activate their membership with a company they feel good about, and simply apply these six principles for six months and have success. It's not that hard, it's just that most people don't understand the power of consistent effort, with the right attitude, for a reasonable period of time. So if you want success in the online network marketing world, just apply these six fundamentals to your business and get ready for the bonus checks to roll in"

INFERNO Secret: You drive by more people in a week than you could possibly recruit in a year!! so....here is the question.... do you have enough folks to talk to??? If not....READ ON!!!! These tactics are what we have found to be extremely effective in creating leads and consistent people to call on. There are hundreds of ways to Prospect...these are just a few to get you started and on your way. Take one which appeals to you...and start immediately....

1) 'People that care about you.' A warm or Hot market is a great place to start...but ask yourself a question... who really cares about my success and future? Start there and ask for their help. You will be surprised how emotions can be of benefit to you...If they do care about you, They will listen to you and try to help......

2) 'People you truly care about.' Who do you truly care about and want to see have a great life? Start there. Your compassion and caring will come through and impact in a positive way. People liked to be thought of, and this is a way to make that happen, and also to show your feelings towards their future and Life......

3) 'People that you know that care about the same things... ' Who has a commonality with you in caring for the same things? Maybe in a club or church, or an association.....you have already established that you have something in common that matters to you both.....and your business would be a great way to expand that relationship......

4) 'Follow your Dollar.' Who do you do business with? Who do give money to on a regular basis... whether it is shopping or getting something repaired....or simply paying to have something done...Who did you buy your car from? Who sells you your clothing and groceries.... follow your dollar...there is a gold mine their in contacts and potential sales.....they may be hesitant about joining you ...but ask for referrals...they owe them to you.

5) 'The Goldmine on your desk.' Most folks have some form of a Rolodex or card case on their desk, or in their planner....but most have a listing of who they have gathered cards from...even in their palm pilot... Most Business owners have a great Rolodex...but l ess than 10% of the cards produce revenues for them.... turn your or their Rolodex into a Goldmine that produces a secondary revenue source for them, by contacting the cards in the rolodex, and increase the value of their contacts..... 'What percentage of your rolodex is currently producing you any type of revenue source? 2%? 5%? If there was a way to increase that to 15-20%...would you want to know about it?'

6) 'Referrals.' This business is not for everyone...but everyone knows someone who it is for.. Ask. And it really depends on how you ask, that determines the response.......' Obviously this isn't for you....but if you were me...who would be the first 2 people you would call to share this with? .....'...and then call them....' Hello Mary? 8) 'Stay at Home moms.' One of the fastest growing sectors in MLM is the stay at home mom....many women professionals are starting to leave their jobs and careers to spend time with their family... values seem to be changing, and with that comes a great opportunity to help them reclaim the income they lost...... and they already have proven themselves in the workforce... And over 70% of all networkers... are women......

9) 'Chamber of Commerce.' Every city has a Chamber...and most are all business minded....a goldmine for sales and referrals, and even some distributors.....join your chamber or at least attend some functions and get a listing of members...... and here is an INFERNO Secret to recruit....establish a relationship and ask for their help.......and refer business to them...

10) 'Civic/Charitable organizations.' Join a Civic group to first make a difference in your city..... not just to network. And become known as a go getter and helper, and as you do these things, ask for people's referrals.....and maybe a time you could let them try your products.......but understand.....FIRST make a difference in the group, and then you will have a better chance of making a difference with them with your business...

My 5 Favorite Marketing Tactics...

Hey Everyone!

Wow! What an amazing convention. Zrii had the biggest official launch in the 65 years of this industry. Over 4500 people were there to witness Zrii's launch. It was stunning.

After witnessing this event I realized how BIG Bill Farley's vision is for Zrii. I feel blessed to be a part of something so special and unique.

Of course, now that everyone is starting to gain a fuller appreciation of where this company is going people want to know how to grow their business more efficiently and effectively.

And that is what Zfreedom is all about. If you missed my call the other day (I had technical difficulties and could not record it) then here is my 5 favorite marketing tactics:

* Please note that these are my 5 favorite offline tactics that I believe everyone can do. For even more marketing tactics please print off the 100 Tactic Checklist and Marketing Calendar Example from your Zfreedom back office.

1. Carry the big bottle of Zrii everywhere you go. This is amazingly effective and it doesn't cost you a penny more. But, be prepared to give out a business card or sample bottle when someone asks you about it. Don't try to explain what it is. Tell them it is way too special and great of a product and opportunity to explain it in a few minutes. Get their commitment that they will visit your Zfreedom site.

2. Use the fridge pack. Pick 6 people a month (people interested in health and/or making money) to hand out 5 mini bottles to with your sticker labels and The Health and Prosperity Report (Order the Health and Prosperity report at www.ProsperityTools.com). Get a commitment from them that they will go to your site. Make sure you call them after 5 days.

3. Pick 10-20 places (i.e. yoga studios, health and wellness centers, barber shops, business centers, etc.) to put the Success From Home Magazine in with your sticker labels on them. Make sure you have a sticker label with you name, phone number, and website on the front and back of the magazine. Also, put a sticker label on the DVD that is located in the middle of the magazine.

Tip: Sign up the owner of the clinic or store if you can. Tell them that you will build their business for them. All you have to do is set up a display in their store with some empty Zrii bottles, brochures, flyers, and business cards. You do all the work to get new distributors and customers from the display and place them in the business owner's downline.

If the owner will not do a joint venture with you don't worry about it. Just settle for leaving a magazine in their store.

4. Put up a car decal (on your car window). Something catchy like,
"Tired Of Living Pay Check To Pay Check.
Earn Thousands More"
Phone number
Website

You can probably get this done for fairly cheap. You can even put a big Zrii bottle image beside the words to make it look really sharp.

5. Network. Join clubs, become a member and associate with wealthy people, and spread the word of Zrii. You can join any sport club like mountain climbing, hockey, basketball, volleyball, etc. Or a chess club. Just go and network by joining a club or team of your choice. Just remember to carry your big bottle of Zrii everywhere you go!

So Ya Wanna Make Money In MLM?

Let's face it, most people join a network marketing company to make money. And because it is so EASY to join... you only need to fork out $100-200 to get started... a lot of people are attracted to it.

Here's the problem:

Making money is NEVER easy. Network marketing is NOT a business model where you are going to make quick money and get rich after 3 months. In fact, it is going to take a lot of hard work at first with very little money coming in which will eventually turn into very little work and LOTS of money coming in (if you are persistent and stick to it).

I'm amazed at how many people look at network marketing as a "short term" fix for their financial problems. Network marketing is about becoming financially FREE with residual income... but it takes time!

Zrii is a REAL business and you MUST treat it like one. If you work hard, applying good marketing principles and stick to it you will be laughing after only a few short years.

Let me ask you something. If you could work hard on your Zrii business for 2 years and know that you would have residual income for the rest of your life would it be worth it?

When someone tells me they want to make $10,000/month residual income from Zrii I ask them what kind of investment and how much work they are willing to put into it.

Most of the time I get an answer like, "Oh, I think I'm willing to spend a few hundred dollars and put a few hours a week into it"

WHAT?????

When you find an investment where you can put a few hundred dollars into it and get paid $10,000/month for the rest of your life then let me know because I want in!

The truth is that building your Zrii business will take time, money, hard work, and commitment.

But if you believe in the company, in the product, in residual income, and in yourself than you will be committed... and commitment leads to financial reward.

Here's the good news:

Building your Zrii business does not require that you be rich. After all, if we were rich already then why are we working our butts off any way?

A good rule of thumb is that you invest 5-10% of what you expect to be earning after 12 months of being in Zrii.

So if you want to earn $5000/month after working Zrii for 12 months then you should invest at least $250-500/month in order to build it. You will need to spend at least 10 hours a week working on your business as well.

And don't tell me you don't have money!

If you say that or if you hear one of your prospects tell you that... don't believe it! 99.9% of the people you talk to (including yourself) have money. It is just a matter of where they want to use it. And if you really are concerned about lacking money then network marketing is just for you!

How can you NOT have money to invest in your future? Residual income is worth me shuffling around some of my bills in order to invest in my Zrii business. Do you really understand the power of residual income? Then what are you willing to sacrifice for it? Don't ever be mistaken... anything good in life usually comes with sacrifice.

I hear people tell me, "Dave, I want to make the same amount of money you are making in Zrii". Do you have any idea what I have put into Zrii?

Let me tell you.

I gave up my job cold turkey to build Zrii. Yes, that's right (even though my wife thought I was stupid). I had NO income coming in. I used up all my savings in order to sustain myself for 4 months while I was building my Zrii business.

I pretty much maxed out all my credit cards. And my wife experienced for the first time in her life being at the grocery store and not having enough money in her account to pay the grocery bill. Do you know how that made me feel as a husband?

I put EVERYTHING on the line for Zrii. I believed so much in the company, and in the product that I was going to do whatever it took to make it a success.

Oh sure... now that I am making a LOT of money in Zrii, people think it was just "fluke" or being in a good place.

Little do they know what I "put on the line" in order to build my business.

So you still want to make money in network marketing? You'll get what you put into it. And stop thinking it is a "get rich quick" thing and start treating it like a real business. Plug into Zfreedom, invest into marketing, get people to your site, hand out mini bottles, call so many people that you have a $1000 cell phone bill, follow up with your prospects, send postcards, go to meetings, get on the conference calls, encourage your team... in a nutshell, do whatever it takes in order to be a success!

Is it really worth it?

Well, after 9 months of building Zrii I have replaced my previous income and I have more freedom than I have ever dreamed of. I'm pretty much set for life.

Even if I would have had to get another job in order to pay my bills and even if it would have taken 2 years to replace my income... it would still worth it.

You Have To Read This...

I spend a lot of time educating myself through books, cd's, seminars, etc. I believe in personal development big time.

What you're about to read is probably the BEST "short" training piece I've ever read in network marketing. It is by a fellow named Robert Blackman who has made 7 figure income in network marketing... so he knows what he is talking about.

Now the reason I put "short" in quotations is because considering the amount of valuable information crammed packed into this post it is "short" relatively speaking.

However, it will still take you about 15-20 minutes to read through. But, I guarantee you that if you take just 15-20 minutes to read this through it will make you a better network marketer.

"Backstage" Amway Training!

If you have been in Amway before
there is a chance you already KNOW
these Insider stats and conversion rates
of what you should expect in your
recruiting efforts.

If you do know them, then this will
be a brief refresher course--one that
every Networker should be able to scream
out in a cold sweat when awakened
at 3 a.m., I assure you!

Stats are important because it is one
of the few "links" us Networkers have
with the REAL world.

Real world, Robert? What do you
mean by that?

Simple.

Our Grade Schools, Mid-Highs,
High Schools, Colleges and Universities
all teach MATH, Statistics, Geometry,
Trig, and Chemistry.

They don't teach Network Marketing,
now do they?

No, they don't.

School teaches us "formulas" and what
to expect when we add 2 +2.

That is what I call "Real World Teaching".

But, they don't teach us what 2 + 2 equals
in Network Marketing language.

It is indeed, a foreign language to them.

The challenge is to get people who have
NEVER heard of the concept of Network
Marketing to "fit" it into their current
programming they've had in their life.

That's why I'm a "STATS NUT!"

It helps me in my prospecting.

It keeps me going when the going
gets rough and I call for 8 hours straight
on the phone on a Friday and nobody
joins my "deal".

Ever been there?
Ever doubted yourself?

Don't worry.

You're not alone, so have I!

The real "key" to any sustained campaign
is ACTION!

Getting yourself to take action.
Getting your downline to take action.

Forget everything else.

Ignorance of FIRE = Robert Blackman

That we me in the beginning.

I made a lot of money then, and I made
it fast. I was a Network Marketing salesperson,
not a networker.

My days in Amway taught me to be a
better networker and realize that my
most important ASSET was the people
in my downline.

It wasn't my product line.
It wasn't my pay plan.
It wasn't my brochure.
It wasn't my training tape.
It wasn't my website.

It was the men and women in my
downline.

Without them, I would be nothing.

Your ability to secure your residual future
depends entirely on how well you can persuade
your downline to take ACTION!

And, they need to do so quickly, or the
likelihood of them ever taking action
diminishes greatly.

I used to joke about how the Amway people
do it to you--get you to take action, that is.

I used to say:

"The reason why Amway is so successful
is that the night that you join, they get a name
list of 100 to 300 people from you. And, before
your head hits the pillow that night, they've
already called half your list!"

So, if you woke up the next morning with
"buyers remorse", they didn't care--they
had your contact list--NEXT!

There is some truth to that quote though.

More "plans" or presentations were made
last night on behalf of the Amway corporation
than any other Network Marketing program
in the country.

Here's their secret:

--Massive exposure through Massive Action.

Hey, want to know why your banker joined
Amway before he joined your deal?

They showed him the plan before you did!

While you were stammering around and fumbling
through your script, someone from Amway got
on the phone one night and simply asked the
guy was he happy with what he was doing and
was he open to other opportunities.

That reminds me of the story Len Clements told
me when he took a cross country train trip.

At dinner each night you sat with someone
different than the meal before.

Of course, as the conversation began to pick
up the obvious questions like, "What do you
do for a living, Len?" came up.

Len decided to just say:

"I'm a Network Marketer"

Much to his amazement, a large percentage
of those folks he broke bread with didn't know
what that meant!

There's a clue here--saturation is a MYTH.

When you can sit a dinner with people you
don't know and all of them don't know
what the occupation of "Network Marketer"
means, that is a clue that this thing is
still WIDE OPEN to you and I!

Enough said....back to the banker signing
up in Amway and not your program...

They took action while you were watching TV, or
surfing the Net looking for an "easier deal to
make money in."

Have I hit home, yet?

I know this hurts, but it's the truth.

Your business has failed to get off the ground
not because of your pay plan or your product
line.

Your business has failed to get off the ground
because you're not showing enough presentations,
period!

I get people who tell me all the time:

"Robert, I can't sponsor anyone, nobody will
join my program"

When I ask them how many presentations they
made last month the phone goes cold silent.

Their usual response is:

"What do you mean by a presentation--uh, I
called the 100 names you sent me and nobody
joined!"

Good grief.

Some of the most neurotic, flighty, undisciplined,
procrastinating and unorganized people in the
world are in Network Marketing.

They fail to grasp the simple fact that this business
is not about them, but about what they can do
for their prospects!

Amway kicks our butts every day, every week
and every month in Domestic and International
sales because they realize that PEOPLE are
the ASSET!

They realize that People connect with other
People.

They realize that meetings, home plans
product pickup and tapes telling others their
"rags to riches" story are the foundation to
their business.

They realize that if simply mailing a brochure,
sending a cassette or video overnight, or
blasting 1,000,000 FAA sights was the secret
they'd cut out the distributor in a heartbeat
and use the commission money for their
own!

The companies need you and I because we
are not just commission salespeople.

We are business owners and you and I will
bend over backwards and upside down again
to make this program work!

We take a :

"Whatever It Takes Attitude!"

Today, I will be teaching you what
keeps those Amway folks going, night
after night, meeting after meeting, convention
after convention, even though they are spending
more money than they are making each and
every month.

I know, I've been there.

--If you've never been to an open meeting
with 250 people (like I used to run
every week in Oklahoma City)

--If you've never been to a convention
with 25,000 Screaming, Eager, Sales
People like I have all over the county.

--If you've never shown a 2-5 year
plan on a napkin at Denny's or IHOP
like I have.

--If you've never done a "Team Calling" every
Monday Night where you have your downline
show up at your home with their "LIST".

If you've never done any of those things
then let me show you a "glimpse" today
of WHAT keeps that business growing
every day regardless of:

--The price of their products
--The payout of their comp plan

When you REALIZE that it is not
your products or comp plan that makes
you RICH, then you start to relax a bit.

You take the pressure off of yourself and
your presentation and you just start looking
for people who are either just "looking" like you
were, or for people you just "connect" with.

You see, when I joined Amway back in the
mid-90's I was already making 6-figures
in Direct mail.

My friends thought I had caught some
sort of "virus" or went "manic" on them
when I announced to the world that I was
STARTING an Amway business.

Now....

If you haven't ever been in Amway,
then these stats will interest you
and be vital for the building of your
main program, whatever that may be.

Let me start my training today by saying
that as an "ex-Amway" distributor I
sincerely enjoyed my association with
them for 4 years.

I will not go into all the "gory" details
as why I chose to walk way from my downline
there and sign it over to someone less deserving,
as I'm sure we all have an Amway story
or two (but, I'm willing to bet mine is better
than yours, though, LOL!)

Needless to say, I would not KNOW what
I do today about warm marketing, prospecting,
building people and building my own self-esteem
today if it wasn't for my 4 years in Amway.

In fact, I still listen to many of my old Amway
tapes every month.

Some of the best motivational speakers
in the world are born in Amway.

I thank them for what they taught me.

One of the most important things I learned
from them in Prospecting was to actually
break down how much each:

--Phone call
--QI (quality interview)
--STP (show the plan)

Meant to me in real world dollars over my
lifetime.

For this example I will use a "30-Years Approach"
to show you how much each action you take
is worth to you in your business.

Now, remember, this may be matching
"apples" to "bananas" here, but the
THRUST of my training and method
to my madness today is that:

THERE IS A DISTANCT CORRELATION
BETWEEN YOUR ACTIONS TODAY AND YOUR
PAYCHECK OVER A 30 YEAR PERIOD.

In other words, I'm going to breakdown
for you how much money each phone
call and each presentation is worth to
you over a 30 year period.

I used this training in my Amway days
to "LOCK" people in and keep them "IN"
when doubt and buyers remorse engulfed them.

It helped me when some guys wife was
bugging him about all the money and
time he was spending away from his family.

It helped me explain to the person who had
never owned a business before about laying
a foundation and take a long term approach
to their business.

And, it just gave me and my entire downline
COMFORT that our efforts today were not
being made in VAIN, and that we were truly
working for something that mattered in the
future.

You see, INSTANT GRATIFICATION does
not exist in Network Marketing.

Oh, sure there are those:

--Fast Start Bonuses
--Coding Bonuses
--Retail Bonuses

That can pay you MONEY now.

Instead, what I'm talking about is developing
and reaping a walk-away residual income
in Network Marketing.

Joe Schroeder says:

--Build a group of 500 active downline members
and you can't stop them from buying even
if you put a gun to their head.

Dale Calvert says:

--Build people and they will build the business.

John Merris says:

--People don't care what you know until they
know how much you care.

I agree with all three of these Pioneers.

But all three of their philosophies aren't worth
a wooden nickel unless someone like you and
I get off our rears and contact someone day in
and day out, until our dreams are realized.

Now, don't immediately right-out-of-
the-gate try to prove or disprove these
numbers.

That will drive you absolutely NUTS!

Instead, what I want you to do for a moment
is to take off your skeptical "hat" for a
change and really sink your teeth into
what I'm about to show you.

Why?

Because these numbers weren't created
out of "THIN AIR".

They were put together by people with
200,000+ or more in their downline.

They were put together by people who
make $100,000 or more a MONTH.

Not a year.
But a month.

They were put together by people who
had nothing better to do than sit around
and analyze their downline and call reports
from 20 years of work.

Now that I've laid the foundation, let's get
to the meat of today's training:

HOW MUCH IS YOUR BUSINESS WORTH!

This is definitely a report that you want to
print out and over with a cup coffee, a glass of merlot
or a shot of crown and with your pen and
calculator in hand.

Yes, study and dissect these numbers, it
will do your soul good.

First here is a LEGEND for you to study:

DD = Direct Distributor
($15,000 in volume a month)

QI = Quality Invite
(Where you get on the phone and are able
to go over your script and invite someone
to sit down for a brief overview of what
you are doing)

BI--Brief Interview
(Where you sketch out a 2-5 year plan
and explain the concept of wholesale
distribution to your prospect in person,
usually at a Denny's or at a Hotel 30 minutes
before the "Plan". The BI is effective because
it is like an interview and weeds out people
who are not qualified to be at the PLAN. You
can show 1 or more people a BI at the same
time. I normally showed 2-6 people at a time
a BI at the Hotel meeting 30 minutes before
the plan. I didn't "mess around" with a lot
of one-on-ones. The POSTURE you get
with 6 people at a table in the coffee shop
is INCREDIBLE! It's like all 6 of them are
trying to outdo the other guy or gal and win
my attention. When I had 2 or more at a
BI I always would sign them both up after
the plan with a kit. It made my job easier.

STP = Show The Plan
(Stage 2 of the process. You normally will
do a BI first and then invite your prospect to
an open meeting where someone who is
a Direct or above would be showing
the plan.

With that in mind, here's the "Backstage" training
only Directs and above get to know in Amway:

How Many Phone Calls To Find a DD?

4 Phone calls = 1 QI
2QI's = 1 person at the open meeting
4 people at the meeting = 1 person sponsored
4 people sponsored = 1 DD
128 Phone Calls To Find A DD

How Much Residual Income Is A DD Worth Over 30 Years?

1 DD = $650 a month
1 DD/year = $650 month * 12 months = $7,800.00 a year
A lifetime of a DD = 30 years
1 DD/Lifetime = $7,800.00/year * 30 years = $234,000.00/Lifetime

How Much Is Each Activity Worth Over A 30-Year Period?

By Phone Calls:
$234,000/128 phone calls to find a DD = $1,828.13 per phone call

By QI's:
4 phone calls = 1 QI = $7,312.52 per QI

By Each Person At An Open Meeting:
2 QI's = 1 at a meeting = $14,625.04 a person at an open meeting

By Each Person Sponsored:
4 sponsored = 1 DD = $58,500.16 for each front line you sponsor

As you can see, by breaking down what each
activity is worth to you over a 30 year period you
quickly gain insight to why companies like Amway
work so well when they don't have the lowest priced
products and the highest pay plan.

They build people.
They educate people.
They get people to take action.
They don't run ads.
They don't do mailings.
They are STILL the largest Network Marketing company in the WORLD!

And, they will continue to be, unless
some other company teaches their
troops how to take "massive amounts of action"
in the first 90 days of their business.

ACTION.

Tom Peters says:

"Anything worth DOING is worth doing POORLY".

Yes, action overcomes everything.

I QUIT my Amway business thousands of times
in my head.

I RE-JOINED my Amway business every week
at the Open meeting.

I RE-JOINED my Amway business every week
at product pickup.

I RE-JOINED my Amway business every week
when I popped in a new tape.

I RE-JOINED my Amway business every month
at the trainings in Dallas.

I RE-JOINED my Amway business every 3 months
at the Conventions.

I RE-JOINED my Amway business every day when
I got up and had to go run a printing press!

Amway gave me the confidence that what I was
doing TODAY would pay off TOMORROW!

Amway taught me Delayed gratification. And, they
had 100's of speakers to back that fact up. Everywhere
I turned there was some Car Wash owner who took
7 years to be a Direct Distributor and he now makes
$50k a month.

They not only taught delayed gratification, they
had the muscle and documentation to back it up.

They showed me that I could do anything I put
my mind and heart into.

They showed me how to "inspire” others to step
out of their comfort zone and take action.

Does your opportunity?

See the difference.

Absorb these numbers, my friend.

Analyze them and compare them with your
own opportunity.

Critique yourself.

Start realizing that if you take a
"Social Security" attitude towards your
program, you'll be successful.

In other words, give your program the same
discipline and consistency and effort as you
do at your job where a small percentage is
contributed towards your retirement.

Why can't your Network Marketing opportunity
be your own form of retirement?

It can.

No, you probably won't work 40 years at the
same job.

But, you WILL still contribute a small amount
to your Social Security account regardless of
who you work for, now won't you?

Same goes with this industry.

You may not be with the same opportunity
for 40 years.

You may have bounced around.
You may be "between" companies.

But, don't forget that your greatest asset
is the relationship you build with those you
come in contact with.

And, don't forget that unless you start taking
MASSIVE action you'll never have a retirement
check from your Network Marketing opportunity.

Realize that every time you:

--Pick up the phone and dial a number
--Invite someone to a meeting or conference call
--Show the Plan (STP)
--Send an e-mail
--Send a brochure
--Mail a cassette
--Mail a video
--Talk to a co-worker

You are making money.

You may not "see" it now, but you are, indeed
making money.

Now, you may not see that money now, when
you need and want it, but it will be there.

When I learned that you could put a dollar
value to phone calls and showing presentations
I got excited.

I was able to teach myself within the REAL WORLD
teaching--trading dollars for hours.

At your job, if you went to work for 8 hours you
expect to get paid for 8 hours.

If you didn't you'd probably quit, wouldn't you?

Well, that explains why so many people with such
high hopes and expectations quit your downline.

They worked 8 hours and expected to be paid
for 8 hours work.

Someone forgot to tell them that the money doesn't
necessarily come every week.

Sometimes it takes months for it to show up.

Start telling your downline that every time they
make a call, they are getting paid.

Their money is just being "banked" by the
MLM bean counters.

Put in your time and effort and this industry
WILL reward you with your dreams.

It always has for me.

Thank you for letting me into your home or
office today and re-visit my past today.

No, the past does not equal the future.

But, the past does tell us many things. Namely,
that what efforts you do today, will someday
turn into residual income, so you can quit your
job and buy your life back.

Isn't that the main reason you and I both got
involved in Network Marketing in the first place?

Hang in there.

There really is a pot of gold at the end of the
Network Marketing Rainbow!
